Job Summary
Research and develop new food technologies to establish product building blocks including texture interactions and flavor; lead product development of whole-cut fungi-based vegan alternatives from lab to market in Berlin; collaborate with mycologists and microbiologists to adapt technology; contribute across cross-functional projects and support company goals; requires hands-on laboratory work, analytical thinking, and strong communication in English; travel 1-3 days per quarter.
Required Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
- 1-2 years in food product development (ideally in alternative protein solutions)
- Experience in formulation and application development using lab equipment
- Hands-on working style with analytical competence
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
- Willingness to travel about once or twice a quarter for 1-3 days
