Job Summary
Program Director will join the leadership team in New Jersey to shape and oversee Yachad NJ programs for participants 16 and older. Responsibilities include overseeing the Mendel Balk Yachad Center's daily programming (3X week in-person supervision), managing intake and onboarding of new participants, planning a bi-monthly Sunday program, coordinating Shabbos programming (8 Shabbos afternoons and 4-5 overnight Shabbatons with partner shuls and schools), supervising Coordinators, and collaborating with the wider Yachad NJ team on monthly special events. Requires experience in program development, excellent written and oral communication, Microsoft Office skills, independence, and a commitment to serving individuals with disabilities in a Jewish community context. Salary range is $55,000-$60,000 with health, dental, vision insurance and additional benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the field
- Experience in program development
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Computer Skills (Microsoft Office)
- Creative and organized
- Ability to work independently
- Strong commitment to the mission of Yachad and a passion for supporting Jewish individuals with disabilities
- Well-versed in Jewish values and beliefs
