Job Summary
New Homes Sales Counselor responsible for achieving sales and closing goals, meeting and building rapport with prospective buyers, converting community traffic to sales, following up promptly, presenting lender options to achieve the preferred lender capture rate, maintaining knowledge of home features and options, guiding buyers through design, loan, start, construction, and closing processes, and utilizing UMH sales technology for automated contracts and customer management; also places and monitors on-site signage and communicates effectively to customers.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ history of high sales performance in new or existing home sales (or similar experience/industry)
- Recent new home sales experience in Colin County, TX
- Entrepreneurial and customer-focused mindset
- Strong demonstration of the principles of product demonstration, sales techniques, and quality customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to varying styles while projecting a positive image of the company
- Valid driver's license and insurance are required for business travel by automobile
- Computer proficiency, (Brix and other office business software preferred)
- Working Conditions: Work is performed in a typical sales office environment using standard office equipment; travel to various locations for sales activity is required
