Job Summary
Review service warranty lists with homeowners, explain immediate rectifications, and advise on assigning later work to trades. Obtain homeowner signatures on completed items and perform repairs including finishing, drywall, painting, and clean-up. Review daily work orders, follow up to ensure completion, and prepare required materials before visiting. Meet with the supervisor to discuss completed and assigned work, and submit weekly lists of needed supplies. Requires several years of residential construction experience, proficiency in carpentry and drywall, a valid driver's license, and strong customer service skills. Hourly wage range $30–38 plus allowance, bonus eligibility, and vehicle/tool compensation. Located in Barrie/Innisfil, Ontario.
Required Qualifications
- Several years' experience in residential / commercial construction or renovations or repairs
- Knowledge of and demonstrated proficiency in multiple trades functions such as carpentry, drywall, painting, etc.
- Knowledge of various tools and equipment
- Ability to read and write in the English language at a basic level
- Must be punctual, reliable, and possess an excellent work ethic
- General computer skills
- Excellent customer service skills in dealing with homeowners
- Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation
