Job Summary
New Home Quality Reviewer sought for a part-time, 1099 position. Responsibilities include performing on-site quality reviews of newly built homes from a buyer perspective to identify defects in workmanship, quality, completeness, consistency, and professionalism. Reviews take about 1 to 1.5 hours and occur on scheduled days between 8 am and 3:30 pm, with electronic submission of reports on-site by 5 PM. The reviewer uses a tablet to enter results, with training provided for the Quality Review Report in the database. No roof/attic walking is required, and no tools/ladders are used. Residential construction experience is preferred but not required. Required equipment includes a tablet, blue painter's tape, hard hat, and reliable email access. Ideal candidates have backgrounds in General Contractor/Superintendent/Project Manager roles, familiarity with punch lists or QC/QA, and home renovation/remodeling experience. Candidate must be detail-oriented, reliable, able to work unsupervised, and capable of driving to sites in the area; drive time is not compensated. Work is available 4-5 days Monday through Friday, with scheduling advance notice for days off. Compensation is paid per review, with pay ranging from $75-$90 per new review; introductory pay ranges from $65-$75 per review for 30-60 days, with a $10/house raise after the introductory period.
