Job Summary
The New Home Consultant guides homebuyers through the entire purchasing process from initial engagement to closing, utilizing proactive sales techniques and customer relationship management. Responsibilities include engaging visitors, determining home buying needs, managing communication records, maintaining the Welcome Home Center and model homes, and generating leads. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, experience in new home sales, and proficiency in sales tracking tools. A high school diploma is required, and a college degree along with a real estate license is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in new home sales, real estate, or related field
- Proven ability to build relationships and close sales
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales tracking tools
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and ability to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- College degree
- Real estate license
Additional Requirements
- Regular, in-person attendance at Company communities/job sites and offices during regular work hours is an essential function of this job
- May require the ability to work more than eight hours per day
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle
- Physical capabilities to climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, reach, lift and carry equipment that may exceed 50 pounds
