Job Summary
Introduce new associates to job roles, rotation procedures, safety habits, and clock-in/out protocols while maintaining certification levels above required standards. Perform scrape tests to evaluate new hires, review their performance on strengths and weaknesses, and forward all evaluation documentation to the Supervisor. Monitor daily progress and facilitate the incorporation of associates into the work team. This role supports Perdue's goal of becoming the most trusted name in premium proteins by shaping the future workforce through hands-on training and coaching proper work techniques in a poultry processing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field
- 6 months of training experience
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Haitian Creole/English preferred
- High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required
- Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment
