Job Summary
Introduce new associates to job basics, rotation procedures, safety habits, and clock-in/out protocols. Guide team members through hands-on training, coach proper work techniques, and reinforce safe, efficient job habits. Evaluate new associates using scrape tests, review performance feedback on strengths and weaknesses, and forward evaluation documentation to the Supervisor. Monitor daily progress and facilitate the associate's incorporation into the work team. This role supports Perdue Foods' mission to create premium proteins while building a culture of teamwork, integrity, and respect.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months of consecutive work history with one employer within the past 3 years in a comparable field
- 6 months of training experience
- Must wear and use protective and safety equipment required for the job as directed by the Company
- Able to stand for several hours
- Work may include lifting (up to 50 lbs), reaching, bending, pushing boxes on conveyor assembly
Desired Qualifications
- Bilingual in Haitian Creole/English preferred
- High School or equivalent is beneficial but not required
- Experience in a poultry processing/manufacturing environment
