New Hire Onboarding Specialist

Job Summary
Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires, ensuring documentation, screenings, training, and activities are completed accurately and on time. Partner with Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, IT, Fleet, and hiring managers to deliver a seamless onboarding experience while monitoring progress and resolving issues that impact start dates. Support orientation programs, coordinate training, and assist with career fairs and recruiting events. Identify process improvements to increase efficiency, consistency, and compliance. Maintain accurate records with confidentiality and attention to detail. Requires 3 to 4 years of onboarding or HR experience; candidates must be authorized to work in the US.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 4 years of experience in onboarding, human resources, recruiting, employee experience, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly explain processes, build relationships, and create a positive experience for employees and internal partners
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments and work with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
- Creative problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Demonstrated ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship or visa transfer
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with HRIS systems, onboarding platforms, applicant tracking systems, or related HR technology
- Experience supporting employee onboarding, orientation programs, training coordination, or employee engagement initiatives
