New Graduate Registered Nurse

RN Resident role with HCA Nurse Residency Program at Oviedo Medical Center. Provides hands-on clinical training, mentoring from nurse leaders, and an evidence-based project experience to transition from student nurse to registered nurse. Responsibilities include patient admission assessments, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, status, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Cohort starts with multiple specialty tracks (Medical/Surgical Telemetry, Cardiac/Neuro) and includes monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, and simulations aligned with nursing standards and state-specific scope of practice.
