Job Summary
New Graduate RN in the HCA Nurse Residency Program at HCA HealthONE Mountain Ridge. This year-long program provides hands-on clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, mentorship from experienced nurse leaders, and an evidence-based project to support the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, applying nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. Requires BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, and an active RN license or Graduate Nurse status in the state. Some travel may be needed for training. Relocation available for eligible candidates and a sign-on bonus is offered for select units.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
