Job Summary
The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department’s scope and standards, working with medical providers and the care team. It supports the Nurse Residency Program aimed at transitioning students to practicing nurses, including advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, hands-on simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and participation in an evidence-based practice project. Specialties available include 4Med Tele, Surgical Oncology, PCU, Ortho/Trauma, Rehab. Relocation is provided for eligible candidates.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
