Job Summary
RN Residency Program for New Graduate Nurses in Aurora, CO. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care under the supervision of experienced nurse leaders, participating in a year-long program with advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, hands-on simulations, mentoring, and an evidence-based project. Roles include assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration, and teaching patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up measures. Requirements include an RN license in the state, BLS and ACLS certifications, and a nursing degree (AS or BS required). Relocation provided for eligible candidates; sign-on bonus available for select units.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Some travel may be needed for training
