Job Summary
RN Resident role focused on transitioning new graduates to registered nurse practice through a Nurse Residency Program featuring hands-on clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, and evidence-based project work; responsibilities include patient assessment at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families, and collaborating with care teams to provide high-quality, patient-centered care; requires BLS and ACLS certifications within specified timeframes, and an RN license or graduate nurse status in the state.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
