Job Summary
New Graduate Registered Nurse for HCA Nurse Residency Program at HCA HealthONE Rose. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care under supervision, with advanced clinical training in Post-Surgical, Oncology, Tele/Neuro, and Orthopedics specialties. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, and teaching patients and families about conditions and treatments. Program emphasizes hands-on learning, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, mentorship, and an evidence-based practice project. Requires BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and RN license or Graduate Nurse status in the state. Some travel for training.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
