New Graduate Registered Nurse

RN Residency Program at HCA Florida West Hospital for New Graduate Registered Nurse. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Medical Oncology, Post-Surgical Care, Progressive/Transitional Care/Tele, Behavioral Health, Observation, and ER. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition at admission and each shift, performing procedures and administering medications as ordered, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and teaching patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatments, and follow-up. The program provides advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, hands-on simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and collaboration on an evidence-based project. Certifications required: BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year; degree: Associate or Bachelor’s in Nursing; licensure as RN or Graduate Nurse in the state; travel may be needed for training. Cohort starts 2/16/2026 with specialties including Med/Surg, Medical Oncology, Post-Surgical Care, Progressive/Transitional Care/Tele, Behavioral Health, Observation, and ER (limited).
