New Graduate Registered Nurse

Direct patient care for End Stage Renal Disease patients by delivering safe hemodialysis therapy, managing vascular access, and adjusting treatment prescriptions based on physician orders. Supervise Patient Care Technicians, LVNs, and dialysis assistants while assessing daily patient needs, monitoring staff adherence to policies, and leading staff meetings. Provide comprehensive education to patients and families regarding renal disease, diet, medications, and dialysis adequacy measures. Administer medications, review and transcribe lab orders, and ensure accurate documentation in the Medical Information System. Maintain a clean, sanitary treatment area, troubleshoot equipment issues, and respond to emergency situations including cardiac arrest. Collaborate with physicians and the clinical team to coordinate care and complete required quality improvement activities.
