Job Summary

Radiologic Technologist role at St. Mary’s Hospital seeking a New Graduate to perform high-quality diagnostic imaging exams in a fast-paced clinical setting. Responsibilities include maintaining ARRT/modality competency, verifying patient orders, performing exams per protocols, ensuring image quality, adhering to radiation-safety standards, maintaining patient comfort and safety, efficient study completion, mentoring students and fellow technologists, providing patient education, following infection control practices, operating imaging equipment and information systems, accurate procedure documentation, and compliance with medical necessity, coding, charging, and quality-control protocols. Must demonstrate strong knowledge of anatomy and imaging techniques, image evaluation and quality assessment, proficiency with imaging equipment and electronic systems, understanding of contrast protocols, and ability to respond effectively in emergent situations. Excellent communication, prioritization, organization, and a collaborative, patient-centered approach are essential.

Required Qualifications

  • ARRT (R) certification
  • Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
