Job Summary
New Graduate RN Residency program at Wellstar in Columbia County (Grovetown, GA). The RN Resident will complete a 12-month Nurse Residency Program designed to support a transition into professional practice for new graduates with less than 6 months of RN experience. Responsibilities include applying the Nursing Process to provide individualized patient care, collaborating with an interprofessional team, ensuring patient and family-centered care, participating in orientation and ongoing NRP sessions, and adhering to Wellstar standards of care. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork, professional development, preceptorship/mentorship, data-driven practice, and compliance with regulatory standards. Requires RN licensure, BLS, and initial professional competency; less than 1 year of RN experience; proficiency with English; and familiarity with healthcare technology (Epic, 3M) is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- RN license (Georgia or Multi-state Compact)
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- Nursing degree with Diploma or BSN (RN)
- Less than 1 year RN experience
- English language proficiency
