New Graduate Nurse at Barnes-Jewish St. Peters Hospital

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing standards after completing a nursing program and before licensure. Will be required to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation. Responsibilities include educating patients/families on illness/injury management, applying critical thinking to assess needs, developing and implementing individualized plans of care with the healthcare team, evaluating patient responses, and participating in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
