Job Summary
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment while troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and basic control system issues. Assist with equipment startups, qualifications, and process improvements by reading schematics and standard operating procedures. Accurately document work performed and equipment status in maintenance systems while adhering to all safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols. Collaborate with engineering, production, and facilities teams during structured onboarding, technical training, and mentorship. This entry-level role supports the installation and operation of complex manufacturing equipment for Micron Technology, an industry leader in memory and storage solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or recently completed certificate from a community or technical college in a relevant field such as: Mechatronics, Electronics or Electrical Technology, Engineering Technology, Industrial Maintenance, Automation / Robotics, Manufacturing Technology, Automotive/HVAC/Aviation Technology
- Ability to work in a manufacturing or cleanroom environment
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems
- Willingness to work flexible schedules (including compressed work weeks, nights, or weekends if applicable)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
