Job Summary
Conduct nursing care for patients in acute medical and surgical settings using the nursing process while collaborating with healthcare providers. Act as a patient advocate by delegating care and participating in performance and practice improvement activities. Maintain professional development and practice within the legal scope of care. This position requires Ohio RN licensure, an accredited nursing degree, and certifications in BLS, ACLS, NRP, and PALS. A Bachelor of Science in nursing is preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed in the state of Ohio as a Registered Nurse
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, ACEN, or CCNE) if they are a new graduate nurse
- BLS certification
- ACLS, NRP, PALS as determined by unit scope of practice
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in nursing preferred (must be completed within 5 years of hire)
