Job Summary
New Grad RN Resident in the Progressive Cardiac Care Unit (PCCU) at South Pointe Hospital. The role supports a one-year Nurse Residency program with nine tracks, and involves providing direct nursing care to cardiac/renal patients, collaborating with a success coach, establishing/prioritizing patient care priorities, responding to patient health risks, seeking supervision when needed, and documenting in patients’ medical records. The position includes day/evening rotation (7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am) with weekend and holiday rotations, and relocation assistance may be available. The facility is Magnet-recognized and emphasizes safety, education, and career development within Cleveland Clinic Health System.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Professional Nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or ARC
- New grad or less than one year RN work experience or transitioning from non-inpatient to acute direct care with less than one year acute direct care RN experience
