Job Summary
New Grad RN Resident - Orthopedics at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus (H70 Orthopedic Unit) participates in a residency core curriculum, works directly with a success coach to provide nursing care for adult postoperative orthopedic patients, and supports care coordination and safety by prioritizing patient needs, documenting in medical records, and responding to risk indicators. The role involves day/night rotation (7:00 AM–7:30 PM or 7:00 PM–7:30 AM) and supports ongoing learning in a world-class academic medical center with opportunities to care for patients undergoing hip/knee/shoulder arthroplasty, revisions, and related conditions while aligning with the institution’s emphasis on excellence, research, and education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) OR American Red Cross
- New graduate RN OR less than one year of RN work experience
