Job Summary
Conduct medical-surgical nursing care for adult patients across inpatient medical-surgical, neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, telemetry, and oncology units. Perform patient assessments, prioritize care, and apply critical thinking to manage acute conditions, surgical recoveries, and chronic illnesses. Participate in an 8–16 week RN Residency Program featuring hands-on clinical training, one-on-one preceptor mentoring, and classroom skill development. Maintain active RN licensure in Missouri or a compact state and complete Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospital experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Specialty certifications
- Prior acute care or specialty unit experience
