Job Summary
Provide hands-on clinical training and mentorship within the 8–16 week RN Residency Program across medical-surgical, neurology, orthopedics, general surgery, telemetry, and oncology units. Deliver one-on-one preceptor support while managing diverse patient populations ranging from acute medical conditions to post-operative surgical cases. Complete classroom learning and skill development under the guidance of nurse educators and leadership. Full-time and part-time schedule options available with up to $5,000 sign-on bonus for new graduates.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Nursing Diploma
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Frequent standing and walking throughout shifts
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
Desired Qualifications
- Previous hospital experience
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Specialty certifications
- Prior acute care or specialty unit experience
