Job Summary
The HCA Nurse Residency Program at HCA HealthONE Rose provides you with hands-on experience to transition from student nurse to registered nurse, featuring a year-long residency with advanced clinical training, monthly education, preceptorship, and mentorship. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families about conditions and treatment plans, and collaborating with the care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care across specialties (Post-Surgical, Oncology, Tele/Neuro, Orthopedics). The role emphasizes translating nursing knowledge into practice through evidence-based projects and simulations, guided by facility preceptors and nurse leaders.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
