Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. The role supports the transition from student nurse to registered nurse with hands-on clinical training in Med/Surg, Orthopedics, Oncology, Tele/Neuro, IMCU (Limited), ICU (Limited), and ER (Limited), including preceptorship, mentoring from experienced nurse leaders, and an evidence-based practice project. The program emphasizes advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, and structured learning experiences throughout a year-long residency.
Required Qualifications
- BLS obtained within 30 days of employment
- ACLS obtained within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
