Job Summary
New Grad RN Pre-Op/PACU role within Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute's expanded Neuro Building. Cross-trained in Pre-Op and PACU for adult neurology patients with collaboration across OR/PACU teams in a 36-bed unit; responsibilities include direct nursing care, prioritization of patient care, documentation, and participation in a residency-core curriculum. Requires residency-style onboarding, call rotation, and exposure to high-acuity neuro procedures; nursing licenses and BLS/ACLS as applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross
- ACLS certification if in a Critical Care area or to be presented upon hire/within first year of employment
