New Grad RN - Oncology

RN Resident in Mission Hospital’s HCA Healthcare Residency Program delivers hands-on clinical training and a structured learning pathway to transition from student nurse to registered nurse. The program includes advanced clinical training in a specialty, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, skills evaluation through hands-on simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and collaboration on an evidence-based practice project. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, promptly responding to patient needs, and teaching patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
