Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) license or permit in good standing
- Nursing degree from an accredited program
- Operating Room (OR) nursing experience preferred for new grads in some programs, but entry-level roles exist
- Strong patient-care and communication skills
- Ability to work in fast-paced surgical environment
- Knowledge of sterile techniques and infection control
- Ability to collaborate with surgical team and anesthesia providers
- Commitment to safety and quality metrics
- American Heart Association BLS or equivalent
- CPR certification may be required
- New graduate friendly pathways or residency programs may be offered by UCHealth in OR
