New Grad RN in the HCA Nurse Residency Program at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care across Med/Surg, Neuro, and Trauma specialties under supervision, with formalized learning experiences, simulations, mentoring, and preceptorship. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition during admission and shifts, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, recognizing changes in patient status, and educating patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up. The role emphasizes hands-on clinical training, ongoing education through monthly sessions, and collaboration with care teams to support a smooth transition from student nurse to registered nurse.
