Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty, within HCA HealthONE Rose. The Nurse Residency Program is a year-long learning path with advanced clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship with a facility preceptor, and mentoring from experienced nurse leaders. Available specialties include Post-Surgical, Oncology, Tele/Neuro, and Orthopedics. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition on admission and each shift, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and teaching patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. The program emphasizes hands-on simulations, evidence-based practice projects, and collaboration with medical providers and the care team. Cohorts begin on multiple dates in 2026, and the organization emphasizes growth, development, and a comprehensive benefits package. Location: Denver, CO.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications maybe required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
