Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with department requirements and standards, supporting the Nurse Residency Program's hands-on experiences, preceptorship, and ongoing education. The role involves assessing patients, administering medications, monitoring responses, teaching patients and families, and collaborating with the care team to ensure compassionate, evidence-based practice. Requires BLS and ACLS within specified timelines, and an accompanying nursing degree with RN licensure; travel may be needed for training. Location: Pensacola, FL.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications maybe required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
