New Grad RN

RN Resident role within the HCA Florida Lake City Hospital Nurse Residency Program. Provides a structured, year-long transition from student nurse to registered nurse with hands-on clinical training, preceptorship, and mentoring. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration, and teaching patients and families about conditions and treatments. The program features advanced clinical training in specialties (Medical Surgical, Progressive Care/Step-Down, ICU, and Emergency Services), monthly educational sessions, simulated skill evaluations, and an evidence-based practice project. Eligible candidates hold a nursing degree (Associate or Bachelor’s) and Florida RN or compact license, with no prior experience required and potential travel for training.
