Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department’s requirements and practice standards, as part of the HCA Nurse Residency Program. The role includes advanced clinical training in a specialty area, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship training with a facility preceptor, hands-on simulations to measure and evaluate skills, mentoring from experienced nurse leaders, and collaboration on an evidence-based practice project. Start dates include 2/9/2026, with specialties in Med/Surg, Oncology, Cardiac, Ortho, and Inpatient Rehab. The program supports transition from student nurse to registered nurse, emphasizing teaching, conditioning, and proactive care delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications maybe required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
