New Grad RN in the HCA Nurse Residency Program at HCA Florida Capital Hospital, a year-long program designed to ease the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. The RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in the department, and collaborates with medical providers and care team. The role includes assessing patient condition at admission and each shift, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and teaching patients and families about conditions and follow-up measures.
