Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment while verifying orders, identifying patients, and ensuring radiation safety. Review images for quality and clarity, document procedures accurately, and follow infection control standards. Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver accurate imaging, provide patient education, and assist students in exam procedures. Operate imaging systems, manage contrast administration, and adhere to medical necessity and coding protocols. Maintain a clean environment, prioritize tasks efficiently, and respond quickly to emergency situations. This PRN role offers new graduates clinical experience in a supportive, team-based setting with flexible scheduling at Lutheran Hospital.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Knowledge of anatomy
- Image evaluation and quality assurance
- Equipment operation

- Ability to work independently
