Job Summary
Perform diagnostic imaging exams using specialized equipment to assist in patient diagnosis and care. Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to deliver accurate, high-quality imaging while providing excellent patient care. Maintain ARRT or modality-specific competency, ensure proper patient identification, and prepare patients for exams. Review images for quality, adhere to radiation safety guidelines, and complete studies within acceptable timeframes. Assist and instruct students and other technologists, provide patient education, and follow infection control standards. Accurately document patient information and procedures while operating imaging equipment to ensure optimal image quality. Work in a supportive, team-based environment with flexible PRN scheduling to build clinical skills across patient populations.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification
- Current Radiologic Technologist license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
- Knowledge of anatomy
- Image evaluation and quality assurance
- Equipment operation
- Contrast administration protocols
- Emergency response
- Ability to work independently

- Electronic imaging systems proficiency

- Physical ability to lift and transfer patients
- Physical ability to bend, retrieve, lift, and carry supplies and equipment up to heavy items
- Physical ability to walk and assist with transporting/ambulating patients
- Physical ability to stand in a stationary position for an extended period of time
Desired Qualifications
- May be required to complete the Medical Assistant (MA) Competency Checklist and perform MA functions in a clinic or InstaCare setting
