Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and other care team members, within the Nurse Residency Program. The role includes hands-on clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, mentoring from nurse leaders, and participation in an evidence-based practice project. Eligible for a paid program with flexible start dates; shift varies by unit needs; requires BLS and ACLS within specified timeframes; current RN license or graduate nurse in the state; travel may be needed for training. The program aims to transition nursing students to a registered nurse through structured learning experiences and supportive supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
