Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department’s requirements and practice standards through the HCA Nurse Residency Program. The role includes assessing patient condition on admission and per shift, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families about conditions and treatments, and collaborating with the care team. The program is year-long with monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, and mentoring to transition from student nurse to a registered nurse. Specialties available include 4Med Tele, Surgical Oncology, PCU, Ortho/Trauma, Rehab. Requirements include BLS/ACLS, RN license or graduate nurse, and an associate or bachelor’s degree in nursing; relocation is provided for eligible candidates; positions located in Lone Tree, CO. Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
