New Grad Registered Nurse (RN)

RN Resident coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in Med/Surg, Oncology, Cardiac, Orthopedic, and Inpatient Rehab. The role supports the HCA Nurse Residency Program's hands-on clinical training, monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, simulations, and mentoring, guiding the transition from student nurse to registered nurse. Responsibilities include assessing patients on admission and each shift, performing/monitoring procedures and medications, documenting in the medical record, responding to patient needs, educating patients and families, and ensuring safe, evidence-based care. Qualifications include BLS and ACLS within specified timeframes, and an RN license with either an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. Some travel may be needed for training. Cohort start dates and specialty areas are available.
