Job Summary
Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN) for an Ortho Neuro Trauma Residency role. Provide focused nursing care by administering medications, managing lines or drains, and assisting with interventions like cardiac monitoring or respiratory support. Monitor patients for status changes (heart rhythm, oxygen levels, neurological signs) and escalate as needed. Document timely updates and coordinate care with RNs and specialists to guide patients from intensive care toward recovery. Qualifications include ACLS and BLS within 30 days of start date and an LPN/LVN license; vocational school graduate. Location is Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. This residency emphasizes safe, high-quality care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
