Job Summary
RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team; participates in a year-long Nurse Residency program with hands-on clinical training, preceptorship, simulations, and mentoring to transition from student nurse to licensed RN; includes cohort start dates and available specialties (Medical/Surgical Telemetry, Cardiac/Neuro); teaches patients and families, documents care, administers medications, and supports achievement of clinical competency through structured learning experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- No experience required
