Job Summary
The RN Resident participates in a year-long Nurse Residency Program designed to transition graduates to professional practice with hands-on clinical training, preceptorship, and mentoring. Responsibilities include patient assessment, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families, and collaborating with the care team to support an evidence-based practice project. Qualifications include BLS within 30 days, ACLS within 1 year, an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, RN license or Graduate Nurse status, and no prior experience required. Some travel may be needed for training. Relocation is available for eligible candidates. The program begins across multiple cohorts in 2026 at Mountain Ridge (Denver metro area) with a focus on Medical Acute Care, Medical Telemetry, and Surgical Specialty specialties.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications maybe required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
