New Grad Registered Nurse Residency

RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department's scope and practice standards. The role includes assessing patient condition at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, teaching patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures; participating in a formal nurse residency program with advanced clinical training, monthly education sessions, preceptorship, hands-on simulations, mentoring from nurse leaders, and an evidence-based practice project; start cohorts available for Medical Surgical, Progressive Care/Step-Down, ICU, and Emergency Services with dedicated preceptors and structured learning experiences.
