Job Summary
RN Residency program with hands-on, supervised clinical training across Med/Surg, Oncology, Cardiac, Orthopedic, and Inpatient Rehab; includes monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, mentorship from nurse leaders, and evidence-based practice projects. Responsibilities include assessing patient condition on admission and each shift, performing procedures and medication administration, documenting care, monitoring for therapeutic responses, notifying providers as appropriate, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
Required Qualifications
- Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) obtained within 30 days of employment
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 1 year of employment
- Other Certifications may be required during employment
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
- Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the State
- No previous experience needed
- Some travel maybe needed for training
