New Grad Registered Nurse Residency

RN Resident coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers and the care team, under a formal Nurse Residency program. The role includes assessing patient condition, performing procedures and medication administration as ordered, documenting care, responding to patient needs, and teaching patients, families and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures; participation in a structured program with monthly educational sessions, preceptorship, simulations, mentoring, and an evidence-based practice project.
