Job Summary
Lead mechanical engineer on assigned projects by performing engineering calculations, modeling equipment, and developing drawings for ease of assembly and installation. Collaborate with engineering team leads, project management, shop, and sales to design equipment using standard methodology while managing project scope and timelines. Assist manufacturing, assembly, and field installation teams by answering questions and making changes as needed, and lead or assist efforts with modeling, fit/form/function, and manufacturability. Schedule design reviews and customer reviews, and participate in the development of SOPs and design guides. Utilize SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software and MS Office tools to deliver engineered products on time and within budget under the direction of the Engineering Group Lead.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in SolidWorks or equivalent 3D software
- Bachelor's degree
- 3 to 5 years of progressively responsible related experience
- equivalent combination to degree and experience

- Ability to prioritize workload and meet company objectives
- Strong interpersonal & written skills with desire to be an active team member
- Demonstrate proficiency with computer skills MS Office, MS Project or Smartsheet
