Job Summary
Provide patient-centered care in urgent care settings: conduct health assessments, physical exams, obtain/update medical histories, order/interpret diagnostic tests, administer injections and immunizations, manage wounds and infections, and educate patients on health, growth, development, and family planning. Maintain accurate medical records in EMR, adhere to infection-control policies, comply with HIPAA/OSHA and state regulations, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Engage in continuing education to maintain professional knowledge. Requires Master’s degree with PA/NP certification and a DEA license, plus BLS certification; clinical experience in emergency/urgent/ambulatory care is preferred. Hourly pay range for this role is $52-$60 USD, with compensation determined after interview.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree and certification by Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) certifying body
- DEA license with no restrictions
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
